Bobolinks are on the move for their breeding season! Join MMRG’s Land Agent Veronica Bodge at Leary Field and Forest on the search for bobolinks! As a grassland-obligate species, the field at the Leary property offers excellent chances for spotting these unique birds during the summer breeding season. Male bobolinks are easy to spot perched atop tall grass, and also have a charming mating call. Veronica has completed research on bobolinks at the University of New Hampshire and will be able to share her detailed knowledge and identification of these birds. Make sure to bring your binoculars!
