WOLFEBORO, NH

Burnt Timber Brewing & Tavern is a community brewpub located in Wolfeboro, NH. We enjoy making funky beer and marrying flavors of seasonal or foraged ingredients with our beer. We enjoy taking the slow road and ferment our veggies, we salt cure our meats, and we smoke over apple wood.

We have created a space for people to gather, laugh, eat well and drink well. We also don’t mind getting outdoors with our friends and running or biking. We welcome ill-behaved children and well-behaved dogs (dogs outside only).

Stop by Wolfeboro and share a laugh and a pint of beer, will ya?

Q&A with Eddie Michno

When Burnt Timber Brewing & Tavern first opened, owner Eddie Michno was a proverbial ‘one-man show,’ as he brewed and poured the beer, mopped the floors, and cooked and served the food. It’s been a long while since he first opened his doors in 2016, so we sat down with Eddie to see where he’s at today…

Do you only serve beer?
No. We only served beer our first year. Today, we produce gluten free cider, offer wine, hard seltzer, and have a full cocktail menu. We also offer slow-cooked food and we do catering. Our food and specials are based on seasonality and whatever happens to inspire us. Check out our most up-to-date food menu.

Are dogs welcomed at your brewery?
Dogs are not allowed inside the brewpub, but are welcome to hang out with you on the patio.

Are you kid-friendly?
Does a bear… Oh, never mind. Of course we’re kid friendly! Often times, the children of our own Burnt Timber staff are in the restaurant. Also, the Foss Field playground and ballpark are directly across the street from us!

What’s your grand plan for the future?
Burnt Timber collaborates and promotes area businesses for events and fundraisers. By working together, we can better promote all the possibilities in this town – boating, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fat biking, terrific restaurants, great shopping. I want to see Wolfeboro become a true 4-season destination.

We heard you serve more than food and beer. Please elaborate…
People don’t realize we are located right off the Cotton Valley Rail Trail, which is a multi-use and accessible trail that runs 12 miles all the way to Wakefield. You can experience nature from right out our front door! We want people to feel part of something larger when they visit us, which is why I always say we serve much more than food and beer here.
