This gentle loop invites hikers of every age to experience the Farm and surrounding nature as they wander through 1.3 miles of fields, forests, and orchards. With the guidance of 20+ interactive stations, hikers will learn about pollinator gardens, the Preservation Orchard, sustainably managed forests and much more while making stops along the scenic Salmon Falls River and enjoying a children’s read-a-long storybook sponsored by the Milton Free Public Library.
Camsie Anna Thickett (nee Siemon), whose life work was to help others as a mental health therapist, believed passionately in the therapeutic power of long walks in the woods. This year-round trail is a dedication to Camsie and her work. Created as a community gift, all are welcome to wander and experience the sights, smells and sounds of the natural world, and experience the restorative power of nature.
