The Farmer’s Kitchen boasts a hearty home cooked breakfast served all day long with lunch starting at 11:00. Proprietor Duane White grew up in New Durham and started in the kitchen at age 4 (so they tell him) at his father’s place in Wolfeboro. After co-owning White’s Edgewood in Alton, NH, Duane moved out to the midwest where he opened a restaurant for Dick Clark & then went on to manage The Cheesecake Factory. Coming back to his roots and family in New Hampshire. Duane has always believed “the difference is in the details.” In December of 2010, he spent several months renovating the building and giving it a fresh, clean feel. The improvements did not stop there, almost 6 years later he continues to invest in improving the interior and exterior of the restaurant & enhancing our guest’s experience! The wooden beams and the 1910 cook stove, that Aunt Maude used to cook on, create a welcoming atmosphere. Duane uses the freshest ingredients in all his menu items.
